COT : Corporate Member Engagement January 5, 202311:50 am - 1:00 pm
Learn how to build and maintain a thriving corporate club through senior leader engagement and by tapping into company culture. The session will start promptly at 12:00 PM, but you can join up to 10 minutes early for casual chatting with the presenter and other District 31 leaders.
Are you struggling with your officer role and looking for guidance? Or have you found a great way to execute your role and want to share it with others? Come to a club officer peer session to learn about how to execute your responsibilities of your role and share challenges and successes with others in the same role. There will be breakout sessions for each officer role. It is required to attend at least one of these sessions for club credit in the DCP program (along with another hour or more of the topic of your choice). We will NOT be doing a step by step review of what each role entails, but will instead encourage participants to ask questions and share advice with each other.
Pre-work: It is expected that you have read through the requirements of your role in the Club Leadership Handbook PRIOR to attending this session.
Start off your morning by attending the special "Conflict Resolution" elective. Then, choose one of the other special elective sessions: "Teaching Pathways and Managing Base Camp", "Speech Contests", or "Club Goal Tracking". The "Conflict Resolution" session will start promptly at 9:00 AM, but you can join up to 15 minutes early for casual chatting with other District 31 leaders and our special guest presenter. The other electives will start at 10:00 AM. If you are only attending these, you can join the meeting a few minutes before 10 AM.
Learn about Speechcraft, how to be a coordinator, and how to leverage the program to grow your club and its members. The session will start promptly at 7:00 PM, but you can join up to 15 minutes early for casual chatting with the presenter and other District 31 leaders.
