District 31 Toastmasters is pleased to announce the Fall 2020 Club Marketing Series, a series of virtual educational sessions on topics related to marketing your clubs and your members.  These sessions are free to attend for all Toastmasters members.  Register on Eventbrite, and you’ll be sent a link to attend on Zoom!

Using Social Media to Market Your Club

Monday October 19, 2020 – 7:30pm

Learn tools and techniques for marketing your Toastmasters club and attracting new members with social media. The session will include presentations on using various social media platforms from District 31 Public Relations Manager Missy Oliver and her public relations team, followed up by panel discussion with the PR team moderated by District 31 Club Growth Director Audrey Chretien.

Audio Visual Tools to Enhance Speaker Experience

Take a look at audio-visual tools and techniques to empower you as a speaker in virtual meetings and enhance your Toastmasters club experience. District 31 Director Anthony Alexander will discuss what to look for and why you’re looking for it when it comes to microphones, lighting, cameras, camera stands, and more.

Make News with Club Newsletters and Press Releases

Wednesday October 21, 2020 – 6:30pm

Promote your members and club with a newsletter, and share your successes with the media in a press release. Division G Director Bethany Hashway will review these powerful public relations tools in this virtual session.

Leveraging the Toastmasters Brand

Wednesday October 21, 2020 – 7:30pm

Are you correctly using and maximizing the power of the Toastmasters brand? Program Quality Director Trevor Crippen will cover tools available in the Toastmasters Brand Portal, important dos and don’ts when using the Toastmasters brand, and how to create well-branded marketing materials for your Toastmasters club.

Build Your Club’s Community on Meetup

Thursday October 22, 2020 – 7:30pm

This session will cover tips and techniques for leveraging Meetup.com to promote your Toastmasters club meetings, attract guests, engage members, and expand your club’s community. The session will be facilitated by Lee Goodwin, Club President of Speak Up Cambridge.
