Announcing… Meet Your Match 2.0!
Meet Your Match 2.0 is designed for clubs seeking dedicated, objective coaching support for six months or more—and for experienced Toastmasters who are ready to help a club achieve Distinguished status.
The initiative uses Zoom technology to bring potential Club Coaches and eligible low-member clubs together in a “speed-dating” format, giving both sides an opportunity to meet, ask questions, and find the right match.
As we all know, the most successful Club/Coach relationships are those where personalities, leadership styles, goals, and availability work well together.
How Does Meet Your Match 2.0 Work?
Qualifying clubs will have the opportunity to meet available Club Coach candidates who are committed to helping strengthen club membership, improve club health, and work toward Distinguished status.
Likewise, eligible members interested in serving as a Club Coach will be able to speak directly with club officers who seek coaching support to build a strong club.
What Does a Club Coach Do?
In brief, a successful Club Coach will attend regular and executive meetings, listen keenly, observe what’s working well and where improvements can be made, and then make recommendations to the club officers to help the club become Distinguished.
What Does the Club Do?
On behalf of the entire Board, the Club President agrees to work collaboratively with the Club Coach to actively grow membership and create a plan for success.
Who Is Eligible?
Eligible Clubs: have 8–12 members.
Eligible Club Coaches: are experienced Toastmasters with a minimum of one year of service as a club officer, have not been a member of the eligible club for six months, and have achieved Level 4 in the Pathways educational curriculum.
Both the Club President (or delegate) and the Club Coach must complete the Club Coach Training Module found in Pathways Basecamp.
A Club Coach Agreement is required for each pairing.
